Meet Noelle
Noelle is 10 years old and has brain cancer, which is more common in young people than adults. She deals with pain and forgetfulness, and has other issues that will bring her to the hospital. When she’s there she receives treatments for her condition like surgery or a strong medicine known as chemotherapy; the doctors will even fight the cancer with a knife made out of radioactive rays. Noelle is from Indiana and her family is conservative, but her sister is a free spirited hippie and her brother is a budding scientist.
Noelle is a tomboy, has a sly sense of humor, and loves cats. In the hospital Noelle spends lots of time with Giggles and goes through the same treatment that she does. Noelle is very protective of Giggles and they are practically sisters. Noelle is well liked around the hospital, giving off good energy to everyone she comes into contact with. She is always with her cat, Spenser. As a Young Superhero named Spicy, Noelle can create pockets on her clothes that are actually pocket dimensions – and from them she can pull out exactly the team needs at any given time. Spicy also has superintelligence and always has just the right thing for any given situation, although it’s easy to lose things in her pockets as well.
